Shirataki noodles have been getting a ton of press lately so I thought I would share this with everyone. I always seem to be trying to slim down this time of year and my friend Anna just gave me her secret.
Anna booked this trip to using her amex points to go to Cabo this spring. Trust me this girls needs a vacation after the guy she just ended it with (total jerk). She said she knew when she booked it that she wanted to look amazing so she could post all her pictures on Facebook when she got back.
Anna enjoys walking but hates the treadmill. She told me how when she was in Tokyo last year for biz she found that the women there like to eat these no carb, no calorie, no fat noodles. I was like…"WHAT? Say that again! No carb, no calorie noodles?" I immediately begin dreaming of the steaming pile of noodles I love to indulge in every once in an while (wish it was weekly). So Anna found these noodles that are in fact no carb, no calorie, and no fat. They are called Shirataki noodles and you can order them online.
So, a couple months before her Cabo trip she started adding Shirataki noodles to all her dishes that called for noodles. Whether it was Spaghetti, stir fry, soups or salads, everything that called for noodles was replaced with Shirataki noodles. Her diet basically became healthy overnight. She fell in love with them and now eats them all the time.
So, Anna continued to go on her daily walks and added Shirataki noodles to her diet. Well, now she couldn't be happier. People comment to her nonstop about how amazing she looks. She has lost a bunch of weight eating them and now fits into this little Brazilian bikini she hasn't been able to squeeze into since college. Send me some pics girl!
I am so happy for her and I plan on trying these noodles out myself. Maybe I can find a good looking man to take me to Cabo this summer!
